Downloading a request/response/return file

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we are going to learn how to download request, response and return files.

    We will use the following parameters:
    For request/response files:
    File Type: Processing
    Transaction Code: 123

    For return files:
    File Type: Returns
    Transaction Code: 321
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. You can download a request/response/return file using FTP Gates form, which is available at the following places:

    • Perspective => Administration => System Perspective => Files
    • Perspective => Administration => Monitoring Perspective

    You can choose any place you like.
  4. Let's learn how to download a request or response file.
  5. Click   FTP Gatesbutton in the top section of the screen.
  6. Locate   FTP Gates Search  groupbox
  7. Select All in   Merchant/Portfolio/Resell...dropdown
  8. Select Processing in File Typedropdown
  9. Enter 123 into the Transaction Codetextbox
  10. Click   Findbutton
  11. Locate   FTP Gates List  groupbox
  12. Click   Downloadbutton and select Request File or Response File from the menu.
  13. Next, let's learn how to download a return file.
  14. Click   FTP Gatesbutton in the top section of the screen.
  15. Locate   FTP Gates Search  groupbox
  16. Select All in   Merchant/Portfolio/Resell...dropdown
  17. Select Returns in File Typedropdown
  18. Enter 321 into the Transaction Codetextbox
  19. Click   Findbutton
  20. Locate   FTP Gates List  groupbox
  21. Click   Downloadbutton and select Return File from the menu.
  22. Congratulations, you are done!

    You have learned how to download request, response and return files. Now you can do this by yourself.
