How to create a repository

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we are going to learn how to create a repository. Repository is used to store the files required for terminal application installation and update.

    We will use the following parameters as an example (these values are used for training purposes within this tutorial only):
    Folder name: UPDATE_1
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Portfolio Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Select appropriate Portfolio in the top left section of the screen.
  4. Click   Equipmentbutton
  5. Choose   Repository  menu item   from the list.
  6. Click on the root directory to create a new folder for the upcoming update in it.
  7. Click   Directorybutton in the left bottom section of the form.
  8. Locate   Details  groupbox
  9. Enter UPDATE_1 into the Nametextbox
  10. Click   Savebutton
  11. It is recommended to create separate folders in UPDATE_1 folder for keys, EMV and contactless parameters, processing application, and certificates.
  12. Congratulations, you are done!
