How to create a terminal

Are you ready?

In this tutorial we will learn how to create a new terminal within your gateway. This is the first step of the terminal creation process. To learn the entire process of the terminal order creation, follow this link.

We will use the following parameters:

Code: MyNewTerminal
Type: General POS
Terminal ID: 001
Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
Select an appropriate Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.

Note: You will not able to add a terminal for a Merchant; only Merchant Account should be used.
Click Terminalsbutton in the top section of the screen.
Locate Assigned tab
Locate Terminal List groupbox
Click Addbutton .

Note: If you want to add several terminals, you can use Batch Add button and a desirable range of terminals codes.
Choose New Terminal (Regular) menu item from the list.
Locate General groupbox
Enter ElavonManaged001 into the Codetextbox
Select General POS in Typedropdown
Locate Provider Profile groupbox
Enter 003 into the Terminal IDtextbox
Click Savebutton
