How to freeze a customer's payment plan

How to freeze a customer's payment plan

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we are going to learn how to freeze a customer's payment plan. We will use the customer created in Creating a customer tutorial with the perpetual payment plan created in How to create a new payment plan tutorial.

    We will use the following parameters:
    Customer's Name: John Smith
    Payment Plan: Perpetual
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Console Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.
  4. Click   Customersbutton in the top section of the screen.
  5. Click   Listmenu item in the top section of the screen.
  6. Enter John into the First Nametextbox
  7. Enter Smith into the Last Nametextbox
  8. Click   Findbutton
  9. Locate   Customer Account List  groupbox
  10. Click   View Customerbutton
  11. Locate   Payment Plans  groupbox
  12. Click   View Payment Planbutton next to the Perpetual payment plan created in How to create a new payment plan tutorial.

    Note: The perpetual payment plan is the only payment plan that can be freezed.
  13. Click Freeze button.

    Note: To unfreeze chosen payment plan, you have to follow the steps above, click on View Payment Plan button next to the frozen payment plan and click on Unfreeze button at the bottom of the screen.
  14. Congratulations, you are done!

    You have learned how to freeze a customer's payment plan. Now you can do this by yourself.
