Email Notifications Guide v1.1

Introduction

The purpose of this guide is to familiarize merchants with email notifications received after their requests for user interface or API access.

Intended Audience

This guide will be useful for merchants that register new human or service users and are not sure how to deal with information received in the system e-mails. To learn how to register a new user, review Creating a new user tutorial.

New Human User

If you have requested access to the user interface, you will receive two e-mails:
E-mail’s subject line: Account Setup (100) – TidyPay – Your User Name – System Merchant
First e-mail contains information about your account and provided access: access URL that should be used to enter the gateway, the name of your account and user name used to log in.

Subject: Account Setup (100) – TidyPay – John Smith – System Merchant
Dear John Smith,


Per your recent request, we have issued a set of John Smith credentials that enable you to access TidyPay management portal (gateway's user interface).


TidyPay Portal Access:

Access URL: https://sandbox-portal.tidypay.com
Account Name: John Smith
User Name: john_smith
Password: comes in separate email

New Service User

If you have requested API access, you will receive two e-mails:

E-mail’s subject line: Account Setup (200) – TidyPay – Your User Name – System Merchant
First e-mail contains details of all APIs available to you as well as default merchant and access details: merchant/account and terminal codes, your user name, connectivity information for all available APIs and links to the documentation for reference.

Per your recent request, we have issued a set of John Smith credentials that enable you to access TidyPay platform API(s).

Second e-mail contains passwords for all available APIs as well as sample API calls of real-time and terminal APIs for purpose of connectivity testing. Please note that you can use terminal API access password with terminals only.
